Super Hilarious: Clarkson Island

I’m not sure how old it is, but this bit from a UK comedy show had me laughing my ass off. Apparently, Clarkson Island has more Jeremy Clarksons per square mile than anywhere else in the world, and there’s even a farm dedicated to breeding them. According to the head farmer, they have to be sheared frequently to keep their bushy hair from getting filled with the crap that comes out of their mouths. Ha! Now, I love Jeremy Clarkson, and if the man himself has half the sense of humor he’s demonstrated on Top Gear,  he’s got to think this is funny. Oh, and if you want to make your dialog sound like Clarkson’s, just remember to pause… in the middle.

One Wicked Mini Van!

When I first saw these shots of Karson Racing’s “mini-van,” I was impressed, but I was wondering why they didn’t go for an A-Team-style paint job. I mean, it’s a Chevy, the stance is perfect, and seriously, who doesn’t want an A-Team van? But after I went over to their site, I discovered this is actually a tiny version of the team’s 9-second, E85-fueled drag van, and with all due respect to B.A., it’s even cooler than his custom machine. Nice work y’all!

When I was a kid, I worshiped Michael Jackson, and Thriller was the first record I ever bought. That said, I wasn’t terribly sad when I’d heard MJ had passed, because I’ve always pretended he died in 1984. That saved me a lot of unpleasantness over the years. Of course, tons of people are still crazy about him, and some of them fall behind on their DeLorean payments. I have to admit I was impressed with this fanatic’s dance moves—it’s a shame he didn’t throw in a moonwalk!
